Squier U.S.A. Stratocaster
This is a rare guitar, Squiers were only built in the states during their first year of production. If you look at the photo of the headstock you can see the "Made in U.S.A." decal. They are said to be better than the American Standards of that year, because Fender's attention was on the new model not the standards. An EMG pickup system was installed that can run one, two, or three 9 volt batteries. All the hardware was changed to black, still waiting for the new trem. Trying to score a neck plate from a Voodoo Strat, until then the chrome one will have to do. Pickguard and trem cover are made of Maple like the neck and finished to match, check here to see more about it.
