The "Sarg"
Well as with any project that gets shelved for a while the whole damn thing ends up getting changed when you finally get back to it. The color scheme has changed, no more Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Silver paint, dig the new marbled look. Green, Yellow, Pink, Orange, and Black marble with a matching Ash wood back cover.
This bass started life as a mid 80s Aria Pro II Cat Bass, it has gone through many different stages to get to where it is today. As you can see from the before and after shots we removed all the control holes in the body to make room for a new onboard preamp and electronics, and did the same for the output jack to make room for a Neutrix locking jack. The body has been reworked making the edges sharper to give it a more modern import type look. The bridge area has been recessed to make room for the thicker Badass bridge. We also recessed the strap lock buttons to give this bass a more streamlined look. The body is painted Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Silver with a violet pearl base and top coat, it actually changes color in different light. To find out a little more about the "Sarg" check out the About Mike section as this one is in my personal arsenal. Check back for the finished product.

Here is the new base paint job, now the wet sanding starts, then the graphics will get painted. Chaek back for more.
